It will cover the present rules and procedure and will review the changes taking place in the making of Special Guardianship Orders including the Special Guardianship Regulations and variation and discharge applications. - “Family law proceedings – What are the tough conversations with your client and the court that need to be had to act in the interests of the child?” – Amratpal Matharu (Barrister, 12 Old Sqr) – Using examples from recent experience Amrit will discuss some of the tips she uses to manage client expectations in children act cases particularly in bitter break ups where children are used as “chess pieces”. She will also discuss useful tips to guide a court to treat interim hearings as final hearings
